If you want a homemade treat, then this is a sweet place to visit. The Sweet Shop is an icon on the north side of La Crosse. It has the feel of the old-fashioned candy shop because that is exactly what it is! Opened up in 1921! They have homemade ice cream and with lots and lots of homemade, hand-dipped candies. Especially chocolates! Yummy!
